Purpose job position

For our client Orangina Schweppes International (OSI) BLMC is currently seeking a

(Junior) Supply Chain Planner

The demand planning team (“DP”) is responsible for the monthly forecasting process, resulting in consensus forecast based on inputs from Commercials, Marketing and Finance teams, on revenue potential and on historical usage/trends. DP tracks the performance of Bottlers and provides analysis of problems and significant variances between existing forecasts and actual demand through continuous analysis. DP animate the monthly Sales and Operations Planning demand review meetings by contributing with input on forecast analysis. DP will identify major forecasting issues for discussion and resolution with Material and Production planning. In the end, DP is Responsible for developing and ensuring the accuracy of short /long-term Demand, including delivery of the overall forecast accuracy and stability metrics (including the reporting of MAPE and Bias information by Customer, by Product and by time horizon at various levels of detail).

The OSI (junior) Supply Chain Planner hold the following key roles:

  • Support the demand planning team in day to day activities, especially on consolidation of forecast demand, bottler stocks and bottler depletions, and on analysis of this data. In time, junior planner will be given a small portfolio of customers for which to manage demand planning operations. (75%)
  • Support to material planner on purchase order process optimization project. (25%)

Accountabilities

Support Demand Planners

  • Monthly loading of shipment forecasts, bottler stocks and bottler depletions to planning tools
  • Prepare key reports to enable analysis of the demand
  • Manage the demand plan of small portfolio of customers
  • Support Senior Demand Planner in the roll out of Portal tool to customers ; ensure tool working properly and data interfacing correctly into our systems.
  • Support DP team in project to optimize and automate some of the recurring processes.
  • Contribute to analysis of demand plan evolution.

Support to Material Planner

  • Provide operational support to material planner in project to automate part of the purchase ordering process.

Ideal candidate profile & experience

  • Bachelor Degree required (or equivalent).
  • 1-2 years experience in supply chain or controlling.
  • Good excel skills; SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong in analytical skills and detail oriented.
  • Next to English, Spanish and or French is an advantage.
  • Good communication skills in transversal organization and externally
