This is the role

As a Supply and Logistics Coordinator at LyondellBasell, you’re responsible for organizing the physical and administration flow in and out the cracker as well as external storage location. You’re the primary contact point for customers and suppliers, you are responsible and accountable for monitoring the order to cash (OTC) and purchase to pay (P2P) processes.

You manage the flow from order receipt, coordination of deliveries to invoicing with internal and external business partners operating within the targets agreed by Business. You maintain the daily planning in accordance with the applicable contract in place, you also calculate and check the prices payment conditions and payment status.

You guarantee smooth operations by communicating with parties, providing documentary instructions, collecting loading and unloading figures for approval by supplier or customer prior to invoicing. Managing the external Terminal, arranging the purchase flow, agreeing the logistics, checking the stock are also one of your tasks.

Finally, you handle vendor or customer complaints, book product movements in SAP and last but not least perform the monthly closure.

You have already gained some work experience in a similar role and that is why you know how to effectively establish relationships with customers and logistics suppliers. You are the kind of person that is constantly looking for feedback and information to improve products and services, you have an eye for details. You have a strong team spirit, as you will be working in a remote team.

You anticipate and act with the customer in mind; you are committed to meeting and / or exceeding customer expectations and requirements to add exceptional value in your way. You like to take initiatives for continuous improvement, because development is important to you.

This is what you bring

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent level of experience in industry
  • You are fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Minimum of 2- or 3-years relevant Supply Chain/Logistics/ Business experience preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP and familiar with Incoterms
  • Basic IT skills (Microsoft Outlook, Office Word/Excel)
  • You are eligible to work in the EU and you currently reside in the Netherlands
