Sales of our existing products and services is growing rapidly and we aim to launch new products every year. All our products are manufactured in-house and we are scaling up our manufacturing efforts to meet market demands. We are looking to expand our Operations team with an important Supply Chain Manager role across our operations.

Supply Chain Manager – Leek

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for the procurement, logistics and production flow and production planning of our existing and new products at our sites, especially in Leek. Reporting to the group VP of Operations, the Supply Chain Manager will work closely with production management, sales & marketing and R&D to improve and optimize our supply chain processes.

You are responsible for

  • Procurement of production related goods and services, such in compliance with requirements and legislation
  • Selection and monitoring of suppliers
  • Managing suppliers to have goods/services available in the required quantity, at the right time, with the specified quality and the agreed upon purchase price
  • Participating in qualifying, certifying and auditing of suppliers
  • Setting materials targets to support production schedules and customer demands
  • Initiating cost reduction initiatives with internal and external suppliers
  • Optimizing inventory levels considering production requirements, storage space, costs etc
  • Minimizing shipping costs to and from our sites
  • Translating customer orders into production orders and develop production schedule in close cooperation with the production managers
  • Managing production schedules between sales, production, sterilization and warehousing
  • Optimizing production flows wit maximum flexibility and efficiency reducing downtimes to a minimum

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • A master / science degree with 3-5 years professional working experience in a Supply Chain Role with production and/or medical device manufacturing environment is a pre
  • Strong communications skills (written and verbal). Fluency in English and Dutch is required
  • Team player with high level of energy willing to work in a dynamic and challenging environment of a fast-growing company
  • Proactive, problem solving and leading attitude
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven and experience in working with ERP systems
  • Negation skills and good contract partner for our supplying partners
  • It will be your challenge, together with your team, to deliver top performance as demanded by our environment
  • Set out the course in your field of expertise and achieve your results by creating support for your ideas with all internal and external stakeholders
