S&OP Demand Planner – Innovation at Rituals

Do you look beyond data to really understand customer and product category trends? In this role, you are responsible for supporting the monthly S&OP process and Innovation planning cycle, to ensure the best possible demand forecast for timely and optimal availability of all new Rituals products in all lines of businesses and countries.

As S&OP Innovation planner you are constantly balancing global demand and supply for our products in all sales channels. You are responsible to provide an accurate forecast for your product categories in collaboration with all business partners. After validation and executive sing-off all volumes are reflected into the S&OP salesplan, resulting in a monthly rolling forecast. The S&OP forecast serves as input for the monthly supply planning process, shop replenishment and financial budget.

Key activities include; gathering business inputs, calculating expected launch volumes, analyzing forecast accuracy, optimizing the demand plan and preparing presentations to support launch volume review meetings. In collaboration with the commercial teams, marketing, innovation and supply chain you make sure all business inputs are reflected in the demand plan, while keeping aligned with our control team.

Your accountabilities

  • You will support the monthly S&OP process and Innovation planning cycle, meaning:
  • You will work together with multiple departments to collect required business drivers, keep track on deadlines and validate inputs from our business departments.
  • You will calculate annual, monthly and weekly launch volumes for all lines of business, countries and key-accounts based on assumptions from the Innovation department and latest business insights.
  • You will support the Sr. S&OP demand planner to create monthly S&OP reports, analyses and presentations.
  • You are in charge to make sure forecast accuracy results, category trends and business inputs are translated to required forecast actions and are reflected in the demand planning tool Logility.
  • You will contribute to launch validation and accuracy review meetings with stakeholders from all lines for business (Retail, E-commerce, Wholesale, Travel and B2B).

This leads to an exciting balance between analytical skills, stakeholder management based on strong relations and adding your creativity into the forecast. You will report to the Sr. S&OP Demand planner and are part of the S&OP team within the Supply Chain department.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelors/Masters degree (Business Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management)
  • You have 2-4 years of experience in demand (introduction) forecasting and S&OP planning
  • You have experience in a Retail / FMCG environment
  • You have strong analytical, planning & organizing skills
  • You have a strong personality & excellent communication and presentation skills
  • You have advanced Excel & PowerPoint knowledge
  • You have strong affinity to the Rituals products and brand
  • You have a good command of the Dutch and English language (spoken and written)
  • You are a team player who thrives within a dynamic, fast-growing company
