This is how it’s done: managing our site inventory

You’ll be the first point of escalation for clients and our parties for all issues related to site inventory accuracy and inventory availability. Our advanced site is a recently set up facility, equipped with the latest technologies and automated solutions. Your goal? Supporting our customer transforming this high-tech site into a world-leading facility. Creating excellence requires daily communication with your counterparts in our clients’ and client vendors’ organizations. But that’s not all: you’ll be maintaining and improving efficiency and quality of work by managing our inventory control team. How? By monitoring and managing business continuity and succession planning.

Some of your duties include:

  • Monitoring defined KPI’s and Quality Metrics and reporting accidents or near misses;
  • Facilitating close relationships with all operational departments to ensure smooth information flow to and from clients and site stakeholders;
  • Acting as a coach or mentor to other staff by establishing clear expectations and setting up training material;
  • Preparing and executing successful audits and monitoring timely and correct execution of our customer and vendor reconciliation process;
  • Reporting business analysis, including the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and executive business review decks.

Even though you’ll be working normal working hours, we might require your presence outside of standard office hours and during weekends, due to audits. Limited traveling may be part of the job.

Our ideal problem-solving candidate:

  • holds a higher university degree or equivalent and has a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a supervisory role;
  • is experienced in inventory control and handling high-level quality management systems;
  • knows how to successfully manage different warehouse management systems (automation, JDA/Red Prairie, system configuration);
  • has excellent knowledge of MS Office applications*;
  • is skillful in building relationships by communicating efficiently in English and Dutch.

*Additional knowledge of EDI, MS Access, SQL and online collaboration tools is advantageous.
